I always look forward to sampling a tripel, particularly an effort from a brewery in the US. Label indicates an abv of 9.9% and canning on 2/9/24. The 16 oz can was acquired from Half Time early in the summer and is cooled off, ready to go. My Delerium snifter awaits and I make the pour. The appearance is an opaque orange-gold body and an absolutely thin skim of almost white foam. A fine nose, there’s plenty of ripe yellow fruit, yeast and some woodiness. I lift the glass and have a drink, ooh, nice. Peaches, white bread, a bit of orange zest, malt, straw and yellow plums. A bit sweet and a bit bitter, emphasis on the sweet. Quite the pleasant tripel imho.
