Keg at the Axe - Stokey. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Excellent stuff, nice and juicy, somewhat dank, with nice citrus fruit notes, some mellow rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Great balance in the finish, more nice dankness, pithy citrus, cat pee. Stellar.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Assume this is wave 1 based in abv. Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small white head. Palate is a little thin, reasonable fine carbonation. Light sweetish malts. Sweet pine and slightly sweet citrus. Little ripe tropical fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Nice. Drinkable.

Keg at the Axe - Stokey. Pours black with a lasting, creamy tan cap. Smells like walking into a Dunkin' Donuts - in a good way! Moderate sweetness, some rich coffee, mellow ashy roast, toasted cinnamon, brown bread, light cocoa. Medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Well balanced finish, some light ashy dryness, chocolate, sweet coffee. Fun overall. Nicely executed.
