At the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, lots of grapefruit, and some light maltiness. Lightly bitter. Somewhat fruity. Citrus is powerful. Citrusy aftertaste. Light bodied. Not too light.

A little watery and low on character for something this high in alcohol. Mostly just booze and oak. Dark amber with ok head. Bottle.

On tap at Spacebar pours a lightly hazy deep amber/brown with a ring of white head. Nose is what you expect from a barleywine: heavy on the barley, malt, toffee, some brown sugar, honeycomb, raisin, prune. Flavor follows, lots of raisin and toffee, treacle, dark honeycomb, chewy grains, light booze. Full bodied, sticky finish. Drinking well.

Draft at the brewery, happy anniversary! Poured a mostly clear, dark ruby color, copper. Small off-white head. Aroma was dark fruits. Lots of toasted malts, heaps of malty sweetness. Boozy, alcohol burn. Pleasant overall. Might want to see how this one will develop in the bottles I picked up.

16 oz draft pour at Port City. Poured a very hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a lot of bready malts, wheat, some ncie grain notes. Very mild, almost like, a mild, in as far as the beer was easy drinking, bready, grainy, with a light sweetness. Not cloyingly sweet, which was nice. Actually quite enjoyable - a good collaboration beer. RIP Kerri.
