Pours a deep golden color with a huge tan head that shows great retention and lace. The aroma is really nice, lots of citrus, pine, and resin with a distant but present bread and caramel malt backbone. The flavor is resinous and pine in spades with a hint of astringency. Light bready caramel comes in to try to provide some balance. Moderate hop bitterness with a subtle chalky note. Medium to thin body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Decent IPA, smells really good, tastes ok, could use a bit more body and less astringency, but quaffable just the same.

Pours a deep garnet brown color with a smallish khaki head that that quickly dissipates to a cap on top. Smells of caramel and toffee with a hint of earthy citrus hops. The flavor is English inspired with a lightly chalky sulfur and caramel toffee maltiness with hints of earthy spicy hops that barely provide balance. Is that a bitter butterscotch I am getting in the flavor? Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. A new NH brewery and I sooo wanted to be blown away. This one is OK, but really nothing special.
