Lightly hazy deep gold in color with a decent sized long lasting bubbly off white head. Bready malt citrus grass and pine hops. Light body with a lot of carbonation. Pretty easy drinker.

Can from The Packie Lightly hazy deep straw in color with a decent bubbly white head that shows moderate retention. Bready crackery maltiness earthy spicy hops with bits of green apple and light astringency.

Can from The Packie Just a touch of haze in a deep yellow beer without much of a head when its poured. Spicy earthy nose with bits of bready honey maltiness. Lightly tart flavor with a bready spicy flavor. I cant read the stamp on the bottom to determine the age.

16 oz. can. Aroma is lager yeast, mild German malts, bread. The flavor shows German malt and yeast. Toffee, earth. Clean and very simple. Clean from the old country and exactly what you would expect for the style.

16 oz. can. Retrofit is the name because it is a more traditional Pilsner and you can actually see through it? Aroma has light crackers, honey, soft fruit. Flavor has a nice pils malt backbone giving the honey and cracker note. The hop is indeed here but subtle. Overall, I really enjoyed this “retro” brew.

16 oz. can. Aroma is citrus and crackers. Flavor of lemon peel, pils malt, weak florals. Light and crisp texture. Well made but the hops are not real forward. For the style it is normal.

Bottle split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to Leighton, 17/04/19. Mahogany brown with a well presented beige covering. Nose is dried fruits, dates, toffee, dark malts, light oak, spice. Taste comprises fruit cake, dried prunes, spice, dark malts, hint of rum, earthy, dates, stewed fruits. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze. Decent Quad.

16 oz pounder can for a Christmas gift from my daughter in new-hamp. Almost clear pale yellow. No head. No discernnable nose, just clean beer. Thankfully, taste is not as hoppy as I was expecting. You know, every style is bastardized by IPA these days. This is just a decent kolsch with medium hop bitterness. Not real pleasant but not real bad.
