Description
Anchor is America’s first and oldest craft brewery, with roots dating back to the California gold rush. Today, our beers are handmade from an all-malt mash in our traditional copper brewhouse. Our process combines the time-honored art of classical craft brewing with carefully applied, state-of-the-art modern methods.

0.355l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before June 2020. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, fairly grassy, gently fruity and slightly resiny aroma of lemon, pineapple and some gooseberry. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite grassy, gently fruity and minimally resiny taste of pineapple, lemon and gooseberry, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently grassy and a bit resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Pale Ale, would like to get those beers fresher though.
