Bottle courtesy of Fonefan. Thanks. Black with a quickly fading light brown head and what looks like small cake crumbs. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, hard roasted malt and only mazarin light cake. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Very little cake for a cake stout. 240321

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear grayish golden with a tiny film of a white head. Sweet, malty nose. Medium body, solid maltiness, nice flowery hops and a solid, finishing bitterness. Good allround effort. 100321

Black, fizzy and quickly fading head. Dark malty aroma, some of that added cake!! and some light notes of slightly artificial almonds. Bittersweet flavour, dark malt, some roast, some nuts and almonds. Wow... a pastry stout with actual cake in it. Maybe... try adding decent cake next time.
