Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Vague, nutty, caramellish aroma - very vague. Medium body, less sticky sweet than other Skanderborg beers and a little more characterful due to the darker malts. Finish is slightly drier, but again with hardly any hops at all. 131218

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a rough, white head. Odd, spicy aroma from the sloe - not really all that enticing. Medium body, again a base of very sweet malts, a buttery feel and again a hint of the sloe. But it's certainly drinkable. 131218

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet, grainy nose. Medium body, sweet malts, again with hardly any hops at all. Again, clean and inoffensive, but also lacking character and personality. I guess this is sort of a clone of the Sam Adams Boston Lager - is that really also just a sweet malt soup? It's been too long for me to remember. 131218

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark golden with a white head. Sweet, malty nose with light phenols. Medium body, again dominated by sweet malts, hardly any hops at all. Kinda OK as a simple thirstquencher, and that's really all it is. 131218

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear orangey amber with only a tiny, white film as a head. Sweet, spicy, pleasant aroma - some overripe fruit and peaches. Medium body, sweet, rustic and spicy but actually kinda pleasant. An odd, lurking tartness is a bit alarming, but it may be nothing more than that. Very subdued bitterness. 021018
