(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 2 Oct 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with crystal malt, citrus and orange. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, apricots, a touch of toast, orange peel and a fresh bitterness in the finish. Thin body, quite dry. Well made and tasty, one of the better low alcohol beers I’ve tried. Quite nice.

Bottled from NK Saluhall, Stockholm. Lightly hazy brownish amber, small head. Nutty grassy nose with notes of ginger. Dry with light body and crisp, near thin mouthfeel. Some bread grass and spices. Low-medium bitterness. Harmonious.

Bottle from NK. Opend almost soundless and pours with just some bubbles. A bit too spicy and not as balanced as most other Gamla Enskede brews.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with some orangey tinges. Chocolate orange, ginger and some roasted notes in the aroma. Zesty and chocolatey taste with cocoa, orange, ginger and roasted malt.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, fruity, light cacao - coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, roasted, fruity, thin. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141101]
