330ml Bottle - Daark brown, almost black, with a tan head. Peanut butter, roasted malt, cocoa and coffee in the aroma. Roasted taste with liquorice, coffee and some slightly burnt chocolate notes. Plenty of flavour for a lättöl and very enjoyable.

Trocken bitterer Antrunk, deutlich getreidig. Die Bitterkeit nimmt zu, das Bier ist etwas langweilig. Zum Ende nur noch trocken. 10/10/7/7/8/7

Bottled, from the brewery. Near black, small head. Cocoa and licorice up front. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Coffee, licorice and cocoa powder. Metallic finish with some bitterness. Does not work as well as the best beers from this brewer.

Draught at the brewery - Hazy gold/amber. Elderflower, apricot and toffee in the aroma. Peach, apricot, toffee and elderflower can all be detected in the slightly grainy taste.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy golden, small head. Distinct elderflower aroma. Dry, light bodied with crisp rounded mouthfeel. Lightly bready, lots of elderflower. Mid bitter finish. Extraordinary for a 2% beer.
