Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet dark malt, caramel toffee, raisins, dried fruits, alcohol, with some soft spicy notes. Flavour is quite sweet and mildly bitter. Body is above medium. A bit simple and boozy, lacks the yeasty finesse of a good Quad.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, St. Nicolaasga. Grainy aroma with notes of hay, straw and soft noble hops. Flavour is lightly sweet with a pretty decent bitterness for the style. Finishes dry-ish, medium body. Could be a bit more aromatic perhaps, but this is not a bad Pils at all.
