ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, pale malt, light toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, toasted, sweet malt - toffee, nutty - dried fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Can 33 cl. Pours thick and deep brown with a tiny, rough and strangely lifeless, light brown head. Heavy, sweet chcolate aroma with a hint of vanilla. Rich, sweet body, sweet roast and bitter chocolate witha slight, roasty bitterness. Straight and solid Strong Porter. Don't understand the low ratings. 180522

Can 33 cl. Pours a deep golden - borderline amber - with a slight haze and a smallish, off-white head. Citrusy nose, but a little sharp and dank as well. Medium body, oddly grainy with what seems like not overly fresh hops. Medium bitterness. Flawed and unclean product from a normally good brewer. 110522
