33 cl bottle from ICA Åkered, sampled on May 12, 2017.BB 1801, Batch #1.Cloudy straw yellow color, big bubbled white head. Fruity, spicy, Brett, barnyard, saison, yeasty scent. Bitter, acidic, spicy, yeasty, bitter, Brett scent. Yeast bite, Brett aftertaste. Fizzy thin mouthfeel, medium bitterness.I seriously doubt this is supposed to be this way. Oh yes, was a gusher also.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy orange, minimal head. Rich aroma of hay and dough. Mid dry with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel, very low carbonation. Ripe fruit and bread, lots of hay. Mid bitter finish with some soap. Laid back.

Flaske spandert av Jan Erik. Delt med ham og Leif i Hvalrossveien 18 Mar 17. Svart. Kjempehøyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Lett maltaroma. Smaken lakrisbåter. Blir veldig søt og uvariert.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Luktet kaffe og kakaopulver. Middels fylde. Søtlig smak. Sjokolade, kandissukker og så kommer lakrissmaken utover, lett salt, men søt også i avslutningen.

Bottle shared during the RBScSG2015. Pours goldenish brown with a small offwhite head that leaves a very small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, earthy and herbal with dark bread, caramel, hay, grapefruit rinds and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly earthy and slightly herbal. Mouthfeel is round, slightly astringent, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with dark bread, caramel, cocoa powder, hay, moist soil, lemon balm and lemon peal. (Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 2 Oct 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of liquorice, dark chocolate and hints of roasted nuts. Malty, roasted taste with liquorice, coffee, dark chocolate and a gentle cacao bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well made with a good liquorice character. Quite nice.

Draught@SBWF2015. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some floral and earthy notes along with mild ashes. Flavour is fruity, some liquorice, mild ashes and roasted malts along with some ripe fruits.
