500ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Patchy surface to a next to clear dark orange coloured body. Lacing rings down the glass. Leafy hops, forest and mid-sweet malty aromas. Blended taste of pine, almond and caramel malts. Backdrop of pine needles. Medium bodied. Decent (Hotel room Copenhagen 16.11.2015).

Draught. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy herbal aroma. Moderate bitter not pleasent messy flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.More S/H/V than IPA.

50cl bottle. Pours near black in color with a thin brown head. Aniseed, licorice, sweetness, roasted malt in aroma. Flavor has lots of fresh licorice, sweetness and mild tobacco notes towards finish. Smooth, oily mouthfeel, nice drinkability. Gotta love licorice.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, yeast and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted and sweet licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A dark brown beer with a reddish hue, almost black, and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is rather burnt, with roasted malts and coffee. Rather sweet on the palate, nicely carbonated and with flavors of roasted malts, swee licorice, coffee and prunes. Some roasted bitterness. Long roasted finish with sweet licorice and some raisin. Quite decent this one, but in need of some tuning I think. 150808
