Pours deep gold with moon cratered off white head. The aroma is pulsating disco scene mango with hints of malty sweetness. The is taste thin and refreshing with a bit of floral like hop bite and mango. The carbonation gives the mango a less sweet flavor than expected as it infuses a bit of harshness into the experience. It gets malty midway with a tad bit of grain and a dash of roastiness. Restrained mango notes allow the beer flavor to shine through.

Pours with explosive effervescence creating a billowing rocky white head and clear deep gold body. The aroma is sweet sugary malts as well as mild apples and banana notes to go along with a bit of harshness and spices. The taste is explosive with grains giving way to cloves, other spices, apples and bananas. I get a bit of sweet malts joining in at the finish.

Cloudy dull amber. Smells like mango extract candy. Tastes bad - the bitterness of the pale ale base really clashes with that mango syrup. Jeez - that does not work at all.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orange with a creamy off white head. Aroma is mango fruit. Taste is a mix of mango and watery grain.

Bottle indicates Tropical Mango. The concept and idea of of Virgin Islands beer with tropical fruit such as mango was interesting. The final result is just disappointing. While the aroma is filled with mango, the taste is badly balanced. The beer should have the sweetness of the mango, and unfortunately it is counterblanced by too much hops bitterness, giving the beer a citrus fruit soda aspect.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and slightly hazy yellow/gold color with a few floaties that look like lemon pulp. Aroma is slightly sweet wheat/light malt, husky, citrus, wheat. Taste is slighty sweet wheat/light malt, husky, citrus, wheat/spice (continental?) hops. A bit off on the taste, maybe a bit tart/seltzery. Decent light bodied beer. Thanks to MarkC for sharing.

On tap at Yesterday’s Ale House in Newport, RI. Orange gold color with a fruity aroma. Heavy mango and tropical fruit flavor with a dry, light finish. Mango beer? It’s honestly very drinkable, a great session beer.
