Description
Born out of the creative and inspirational beer scene of Brighton, Laine Brew Co beers are an art form in themselves – each one a playful composition of flavour, inventiveness and good times. They’re unfiltered, unpasteurised, uncompromising – and unique.

We create highly individual and authentic craft beer which is accessible to all, and tastes so damn good! Our core range is focused on consistent, sessionable beers and supported with some awesome, locally inspired designs (think Brighton Skyline guys). We also brew short run, specials and collaboration beers at our North Laine Brewhouse. These are our limited edition wild, weird and wonderful beers that are all a little bit different but brewed just as lovingly as our core range!

Surrounded by the South Downs national park, the brewery is rooted in the countryside while keeping close ties with Brighton.

Keg in Ye Olde Fleece Inn, Kendal. Gold with a white head and a middling fizz. Initially quite refreshing, but not my favourite flavour brew; green leaves and herbs with a hint of macro lager. Not for me.

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at BeerKat. Snow white head over a misty, grey-golden body, rich lacing. Moderate hop fruity flavours with scent of pineapple. The taste profile follows suit with pineapple and lemony hops. Short fruity ending with discreet bitterness. Just okay. (Ealing Broadway, London, 26.09.2023).

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at BeerKat. Clear amber-orange body, fair white head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of mango and ripe fruits. Flavoured with mango, ripe citrus, and mid-sweet malts. Malt-fruity endnote, a bit short, but fair enough. (Ealing Broadway, London, 26.09.2023).

Delt med Rune på BeerKat. Gusjegrågul. Uklar. Middels høyt luftig kritthvitt skum som varer en stund. Litt lacing. Lett sitrusaroma. Smaken tropisk frukt. Lett tørr bitter avslutning.

Delt med Rune på BeerKat. Mørk stråfarget. Klar. Middels høuyt tett skum som saler sakte & etterlater tykk lacing. Lett parfymearoma. Smaken kunstig. Skal kanskje være mango. En liten tørr bitter avslutning.

Keg at the Ram Inn, Wandsworth. Orangeish brown, clear, with a small off-white head and good lacing. Marmalade aroma, a tiny bit possety which is odd. Bittersweet taste, some tannic notes, bitterness increasing to the finish. Mango iced tea in the aftertaste. Well-carbonated. Artificial but refreshing in a way I guess.
