On tap at Wander, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, light coffee, and dry cocoa. Flavour is robust, with notes of roasted malt upfront, with maybe a touch of both dry cocoa and coffee. Robust, dry and drinkable for the style. Good, albeit unremarkable impie stout.

On tap at Wander, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, with bready notes and some sweetness. Flavour brings out notes of bready malt, light caramel sweetness, and toffee. Not a very balanced beer, as the sweetness is a bit burdensome. Not the most refined beer, but it's okay.

On tap at Wander, pours a clear golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, some orange peel, and light coriander. Flavour is along the same lines, with a dry sort of rye-like body, with notes of coriander and light citrus. Pretty bland, but decently balanced, with a yeasty finish. Okay.

GABF 2014. Black; low carbonation; fine for a stout. Very heavily roasted grain, perhaps too much, giving this a burnt flavor and a hint of smoke.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Flat black pour with a medium beige head that dissipates quickly to a film. Stringy lacing. Coffee, malt and chocolate in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, milk chocolate and coffee. Slight hops too. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at Wander, pours a hazy dull golden copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank herbal hops upfront. Flavour is much the same, with some vegetal notes. Not the most fresh tasting nor clean on the palate. It's okay, but needs some work.

On tap at Wander, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out nothing but pumpkin puree. Flavour is much the same, just like a pumpkin pie - not any of this "pumpkin spices" nonsense; this is like actual pumpkin. Good take on a style I'm not fond of.
