Cask. Ambery brown colour with a small bubbly head. Aroma is nutty, some earth, floral, mild chocolaty and some toffeeish notes. Flavour is wood, mild dried fruits, chocolate, mild toasted tones, nutty and also some mild berry notes. Smooth.

Bottled (Nolia Beer Festival 2018). Deep amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity,some wood and mild spices to it. Flavour is spices, friuts, some slight toffee and mild bitterness.

Bottled@Nolia Beer Fest 2017. Deep ambery brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is spices, nutty notes, mild syrup, burnt sugar as well as some slight wooden notes. Flavour is quite similar, with mild leathery notes to it as well. Sweetish overall, but still quite easy to drink.

Cask, at benny's, small stable bubbly creamy head,light hazy dark copper colour, lots of caramel and nuts with a hint of dark malt behind, mellow medium bitterness. Really smooth.

Can from Devenick. It pours clear copper with a decent white head. The aroma doesn't really warrant the use of hops in the aroma.. subdued biscuit, grain, touch of damp grass, earth and a touch of cereal. The taste is firmly dry, snap of bitterness, grass, herbal accents, grain, earthiness, biscuit malt, vague hint of pithy citrus and cereal, damp wood with an earthy finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Such and old skool beer. Drinks fine enough, but pretty earthy and boring.
