Bottle. A hazy-looking dark brown beer with a finger-thick dark beige head. Some curtains. The aroma has lots of toffee and roasted malts, some coffee hints and yeastiness. It’s medium to full bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee and some dark chocolate in the flavor. Nutty, lightly yeasty. A bit too bitter in the finish, I think. A bit dull and unbalanced, but sure drinkable. 231124

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Finnsnes. Pours close to pitch black with a moderate, beige head. Roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and dried, dark fruits. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a balanced bitterness. Smooth, easy to drink - rather tasty and quite enjoy ale.

0,5l bottle from Vinmonopolet Tromso Sentrum, enjoyed @ home. Pours very dark brown with a high tan head. Aroma is dry roasted malts with coffee. Flavor is dry roasted malts with coffee, alcohol, plenty of hops. Dry and rough, in a good way.

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Finnsnes. Aroma of dark fruits, toasted malt, herbal hops, chocolate and hints of coffee. Rather lively carbonation, but flavorful, balanced and tasty. Quite enjoyable, but would be even better with softer carbonation.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear copper colour, rich head. Toasty, ashy and fruity nose. Mid dry with light body and clean, firm mouthfeel. Earthy toast, red berries and licorice. Mid bitter finish.
