330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Spotty lacing down the glass from a slowly diminishing beige head. Clear mahogany coloured body. Mild aroma of minerals and bread, mid sweet. Clean taste of caramel malts and bread with a discreet backdrop of herbal hops. Rounded mouth feel. Satisfying, more bottles will be bought for the festive season. Should be a fine partner to different kinds of Yuletide food. (Shared with Frau Eva, Tromsø 22.11.2017).

330ml bottle kindly shared by Liv. Misty warm golden body, low white head, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of oily hops with a citric touch. Clean taste of pale malts and discreet lemony hops followed by a distant, dry bitter end. Drinks quite well. Food friendly. (Svenskebyen, Bodø 10.11.2017).

Bottle. An unclear dark orange colored beer with a dense off-white two finger head leaving some coarse lacing. Rather malty aroma with a solid pine cone scent, some citrus, grapefruit mostly but also some orange, and a cooked cereals note. It’s full bodied, perhaps a bit heavy on the carbonation, still quite smooth, lightly warming and with a decent bitterness. Sweet, malty backdrop and piney, resiny hops up front. Citrus too. Long piney, bitter finish. Not bad this one, quite old school but sure drinkable. Perhaps the first time I’ve enjoyed a beer from this brewery. 170808
