(Bottle, from Bottl3.5hop, Stockholm) Dark reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, red fruit, toast and apricot marmalade. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, red fruit, orange peel, toast and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Svart med ett litet skum. Doft av lakrits, trä och lite Bourbon. Smakar lakrits och Bourbon vilket ger den en sorts Jägermeister-feeling.
Helt ok, men hade gärna fått vara lite rundare och fylligare.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Caramel, oak and ripe raspberries up front. Mid sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and honey, raspberries and white pepper. Well hidden alcohol. Low bitterness. Doesn't really offer the soft malt richness wanted in a great barleywine.
