[ As Kaskenmäen Kaski-Portteri ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, smoke, toasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, dark malt, bread, malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt extract - caramelized malt - caramelized brown sugar - coocked mash, moderate hoppy, mineraly hops, hoppy, dry. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

Dark amber color, steady beige head. Grassy, earthy hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Piney, citrusy, harshness in the flavor. Not very balanced and way too harsh.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2015) The beer poured black and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and booze. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, vegetables and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A brew that was partly good.

Tap@ SOPP 2015. Unclear amber, thin white head. Bready, earthy, caramelly aroma. Flavor has caramel, bread, malt, hops. Bitter finish, short.

Draught@Apteekki, Turku (backlog). Deep reddish brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, as well as some ashes, smoked wood and mild toffeeish and nutty notes. Also some liquorice. The flavour is chocolaty, toffeeish, liquorice along with some slight ashes and mild smoked notes. Surprisingly tasty and no flaws.
