Draft.- Roasted malts. You can almost see the amber and a thin head. Roasted malts and weak dark roast coffee. This is passable but not great.

Draft - Perfumy and a bit of sweet grapefruit. Cloudy light gol with a thin head. Earthy hops, very dry and bitter, not resinous but almost medicinal. A bit perfumy in the taste as well. Too much going on any the perfume overwhelms.

500mL can, pours a completely clear pale yellow with a huge foamy white head. Nose is fairly subtle, with light notes of yeast, banana, clove and some citrus fruit. Flavour brings out grassy hops, some citrus, a little clove and of course, Belgian yeast. Fairly yeasty, grassy and citrusy - certainly not a traditional farmhouse-style ale / saison by any means. Nevertheless, light, refreshing and highly drinkable. Solid canned saison.

Sample at the brewery taproom. The beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of fruit and oak. Medium body with a mildly vinous character and notes of grain and sweet citrus. The finish is oaky with a fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.
