10/VIII/24 - 33cl bottle as a gift, shared @ Mattie’s place, midsummer mussels dinner with the inlaws, BB: 17/XI/24, 2021108 (2024-729) Thanks to whomever got me this bottle!

Little cloudy blond beige beer, small aery irregular off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: CO2, lots of overripe fruits, pineapple, a little dirty, weird, funky. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: sweet start, very malty, grains, hay, soft bitterness, floral, quite some alcohol, sugary, meh. Aftertaste: ripe pineapple, bitter touch, a bit yeasty, hoppy touch, some banana, a bit soapy, decent but not great.

Medium, cream-coloured head, rather stable over fully hazy dark nut-brown beer. Bit woody, dark malts, dry, hint at booze. Light bitter, maltsweetness, light roast, again woody, bit nutty. The whiskey is there, but really held back, despite being infused. Medium bodied, good carbonation, pretty slick, almost viscous. Long lasting flavours. Aftertaste features some cacao powder. Decent, not special. Whiskey barrel aging is superior to infusing. Purchased @ Dranken Goegebuer, Knesselare
