Brimblecombe's Cider Farm in the neighbouring village of Dunsford has been a site for cider production for 500 years. The current cider press is 350 years old.

@ GBBF 2014. Very dry, not much aroma. Not much fruitiness in the mainpart. The aftertaste has hints of tannins, hints of fruitiness, lots of sour apples.

From the polypin at the Orchard, Bristol 25/10/09. Cloudy gold in colour with next to no head. Dryin aroma and flavour, yet avoidiing acidity, with some balancing juicy apple fruit. Good stuff.

Cloudy golden with a small white head. Clean frsh apple aroma. Really acidic, but straightforward apple peel flavour

Hazy golden with no head. Sour aromaen with apples and wood. Flavor holds sour apples, wood and finishes dry. Nice cider.

GBBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is sweet apples, rotten apples and vanilla with some mild herbal notes. Flavour is apples, alcohol and some sweet berryishlike notes. Quite dry and a bit acidic.
