Shared bottle at annual yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 06.12.14. Very dark brown with beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate and dark malts. Taste is lighter than one would expect. Medium to thin mouthfeel. Aftertaste of dark chocolate.

Skikkelig svart grøt med et finn off white skumtopp. Aromaen er dessverre litt sur. Med noe kaffe og sjokolade. Veldig fyldig og fin kropp. Litt søtlighet og middels bitterhet. Ganske myk karbonering.

On tap at Grünerløkka brygghus. Almost clear golden with a small white head that leaves nice lacings. Mild malty, fruity and hoppy aroma with hints of yeast, wheat and spices. Moderate in flavour and seems like a nice beer to pair with foot, but it gets slightly boring on it’s own. Medium sqeet with lightly fruity flavour and a light, but balanced bitterness. Light body, slightly watery, but refreshing and easy to drink. --- Beer merged from original tick of Birra Paradiso on 03 Oct 2013 at 23:20 - Score: 6

On tap at the brewhouse, about 300ml. Off-white head with fine retention. Cloudy, dark apricot body colour. Ripe fruity nose with malts beneath. Flavours of grapefruits and dried fruits leading to a heavy bitter ending. Rather well bodied and okay, a bit unvaried though (Oslo 02.09.2013).

Taster, tap at the brewhouse. Patchy layer at the top of a muddy orange coloured body. Good lacing. Perfumed hoppy nose. Blended flavours of citrus hops, with peaches to the fore, and malty sweetness. A lightly spicy touch added to it. Nice bitter endnotes of dry, citrus peels. A bit mealy on the swallow. Pleasing (Oslo 02.09.2013).

25cl on tap at Grünerløkka Brygghus. Hazy amber with a small, but lasting white head. Nice hoppy and fruity aroma with citrus, tropical fruits, pine and malt. Nice hop and nice brew. Moderate sweet with lovely fruity flavours and a somewhat dry, citric and pleasantly bitter finish. Well balanced. Delicious and tasty IPA!
