Description
In November of 2011, Mary Wolf, and her son Danny, renovated a 100 year old Nelson County schoolhouse into a restaurant, built an adjacent brewery, and began the story of Wild Wolf Brewing Company. Mary, a business-savvy entrepreneur, takes care of the business, and Danny, a formally educated Brewmaster, oversees production of an ever-expanding portfolio of award-winning ales and lagers. We now distribute cans, and kegs throughout the entire state of Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. Our current portfolio includes six year-round beers, over a dozen rotating and seasonal beers, and occasional single-batch creations.
We are located in the heart of Virginia’s Brew Ridge Trail, on Nelson County’s scenic Rt. 151, minutes from hiking trails, orchards, wineries, distilleries, and lodging. We’re very proud of our beautiful setting in little Nellysford, Virginia. Our dog-friendly shaded biergarten, with koi pond and fountain, is the perfect place to enjoy pints and lunch (weather permitting). Weather not so great? Check out the four-season pavilion!
Our on-site event center with fully equipped kitchen is ready to host your next private event in a beautiful rustic-chic space. Our Event Coordinator will help plan weddings, rehearsal dinners, special parties, and corporate events. With seating for up to 140, outdoor space in our beautiful courtyard, private bathrooms, and much more, our Event Center is the perfect place for a special day.

Not necessarily great. Seems like an ok idea actually but that’s just because I don’t usually like Schwarzbiers. Pours dark brown with ok head and lacing. Some roast, some strawberry. On tap at DC Beer Festival.
