Big beige head. Deep brown body with lots of floaties. Resiny pineapple aroma with oily malty notes. Sweetish spicy resiny taste with floral roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Can also feel some of the floaties, unfortunately. Dryish resiny tropical fruit aftertaste with dusty earthy roasty notes. Traces of pineapple, too. Without the pineapple this would be a great beer. As it is, it’s quite enjoyable. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly.)

On tap at Cafe Sara, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out roasted malt, piney hops, and dark chalky cocoa. Flavour is well-balanced, with roasted malt and dry hops battling for prominence. Bitter and roasted on the finish in equal parts. Very good by the books black IPA.

Bottle, 7.0% @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy copper brown with airy off-white head. clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with hoppy notes. Booze in the long nose. Bitter, hoppy and metallic flavour, with sweet notes of caramel malt nd touches of yeast. Bitter aftertaste. Okay but the bitterness is not very pleasant.
