On tap at Kick. It pours a hazy, orange golden body under a small, white head. Some curtains. The aroma is quite candyish, with caramel and some grass and some pine cones. There’s a pleasant bitterness in the flavor, with caramel, candy and some piney hops. Fluffy mouthfeel, medium body. Nice bitterness in the finish. Quite pleasant, but sort of ordinary. On tap at Kick. A hazy one, golden in color and with a small, dense light beige head. Lots of tropical fruits in the aroma, with citrus peel and pine cones. Not much maltyness going on. It’s perhaps lacking some on body fullness, but the mouthfeel is nice anyway. Decent, although a bit low, carbonation level, and not too sweet. A fine bitterness controls the sweetness there is. Pine cones, resin, citrus peel and a hint of pineapple and peaches. Lasting finish. Definitely a nice one, but as Humlehelvete it needs more carbonation. Could easily drink more of this. 140405

On tap @ Kick. Cloudy, deep orange body with a small off-white head. Nice, strong hoppy aroma with citric fruits, pine and caramel. Flavor is caramel malt, citric fruit, pine, some yeast and quite bitter. Fine body and bitter aftertaste. A nice and very refreshing IPA, would be fun to compare with Two Captains one day.

On tap at Kick. It pours an unclear dark amber to brown body under a minimal sized off-white head. Doesn’t look very sexy, but hey it smells wonderful even though there’s a tad too much caramel and alcohol going on. Peaches, pine cones and generic tropical fruits. Unfortunately the hoppy aroma fades too quickly, making me push the score down from an eight to a seven. It’s a tad bitter actually, but I like it anyway. Pleasant sweetness as well and with a nice hoppy flavor. A tad too low on carbonation, full body and some alcohol warmth. Lasting bitter finish. Sure a nice one, even though it’s not looking good and feels a bit flat. 140404
