Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry yeasty, weeds, yeast, citrus, grass, hay, minerals. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, flowers, hay, yeast, wheat, paper, grass, grain. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh floral mouthfeel. Meh.

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma is rather chalky-yeasty, quite fruity and with some pale malts and pine cones. Some faint woody hints, which suprises me. Fruity, lighlty funky flavor with banana and apples, some bitterness too. It’s medium to full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Long fruity finish. Probably the best Holtens beer I’ve had, but I’m still far from impressed. 150814

Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, apple, dried fruits, caramel, yeast and hint of vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly warm, yeasty, fruity and vanilla finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy.

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top @ Carnival Tasting 2015, Denmark. [ As Holtens Lager ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, pale malt, vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sweet vegetables, grain. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150228]

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy, yellow-ish golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is rather weak, with some pale malts and citrusy hops. Pine cones and a grassy touch. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Quite dry. Pale malts, pine cones, grass and some citrus. Lasting finish with a pleasant bitterness and piney, grassy notes. A quite nice one, easy drinkable and quenching, but the price is hopeless, even though it’s a large bottle. 150228

Leicht bananiger Antrunk, mild herb, was sich aber noch verringert. Minimale Würzigkeit, hefig bleibend. Langweilig und nicht wirklich wie ein Lager. 10/7/8/7/8/6
