Bottle at home. Pours a hazy orange colour with a beige head. Both aroma and flavour has tones of spices, citrus, pale malt, Belgian yeast and cooked vegetables. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. An okay and fresh ale.

From a 750ml defect swing-top bottle, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Bubbly filmy layer to a cloudy apricot coloured body. Aroma of yeast, peach and alcohol. Bittersweet fruity taste joined by yeast with a little to much alcohol present. Oily palate. Quite possible to drink. Not suitable for the season though (shared at social gathering, TromsΓΈ 08.11.2014).

Gusher. I don’t open the swingtop completely on the first attempt, causing the beer to spray out from underneath the cork. Lots of cleaning ensues. Huge offwhite lasting head over hazy amber body. Funky earthy fruity aroma with mealy strawy notes. Sweet earthy fruity taste with honey notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish earthy funky spicy aftertaste with honey and fruit notes. It’s not that bad, despite being infected, but could use more hops. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

0.75l swingtop bottle. Oh, it's definitely over carbonated. Quickly creates a huge almost foamy looking white lasting head on top of a mildly clouded golden body. It has a aroma that reminds me a bit of a slightly dry white wine. After a while when the head has had a chance to settle a bit it gets more fruity and hop-peachy. A slightly strange vitamin-c citrus touch and traces of grass, public swimming pool and yeast. Yeah, it's not horrible, but still not at all what it should be like. It's definitely over carbonated indeed. Not aggressive but not too far off either. It doesn't really taste as good as it smells. Really yeasty with lots of old silo grass. Slightly earthy and almost dust-like in the aftertaste. It is a drinkable one and all that, but not a very successful IPA in any way IMO. 26.04.2014
