Cask at Cap Tap. Pours lightly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is fruity with an herbal note. Quite pleasant. Near med body. Flavor is fruity, very lightly caramel and in the finish a mild green/veg/prickle/spice/? comes through. Avery pleasant taste surprise. I’m liking it. Not sure if the bitter is hop or something else, but for me it finishes fairly dry (tho not at the start) and pleasantly bitter. Not kidding about the prickle aspect.

Nitro tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Aroma seems mildy citrus. Fair amount of body. It’s clean, mildly bitter, but sort of dry, and it seems bready and citrus. Good session ale.

Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma of mixed citrus/mosaic. Med body almost. Flavor starts dank for me. Lots of hops. Lots of flavor given the low ABV.Bitter/dankish. Citrus dominates but it’ much more complex than that. Great. Could be sessionable.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark brown with orange glints. Aroma is dark malt with a mild but heavy(?) citrus note. Med minus body/light carbonation. Flavor is medium dark malt with a musty citrus aspect. Aftertaste brings chocolate to mind. Flavors are not uber strong, but pleasant.

Cask at Cap Tap. Pours rather translucent/hazy light gold with no real head. Aroma of slightly sour fruit. Med minus body. Flavor is very lightly sour passionfruit - light on fruit as well. It just goes down easily. Extremely crushable. Several folks at the bar were willing to say very nice things about this ale.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus, a bit earthy. Not volatile but seems "heavy". Med +body. Flavor is citrus in an earthy and heavy way. It’s dry and quite hoppy, but the bitter doesn’t bite strongly. Very tasty, but difficult for me to parse.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours gold with a white head. Bready aroma. Near med body. Flavor is bready/pale malt and what could be earthy/grassy hop. Not all that dry. Lightly bitter. Fairly tasty tho.

On tap at Beer Baron in Livermore. It pours a dark amber color with an off white head. The aroma has lots of cinnamon raisin bread with some hints of ginger snaps. Big time. A little cookie-like malts. The flavor is very much the same. Cinnamon raisin toast and ginger snaps. Hints of roasted malt in the finish with mild acidity. Medium bodied. Seems like there might be some Belgian candy sugar in this, but I’m not sure. Pretty interesting and decent.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brown with a tannish head. Aroma is malty/earthy/chocolate. Med body or nearly. Flavor impression is wheat/fruit/earth. Touch of herb and treacle and chocolate. Dryish. Rather different. Worth a try.
