Sample at The Bistro DIPA-Festival, February 8. (my first one from this brewery) Hazy light orange with a white head. Pineapple, citrus, some malt and light notes of caramel. Also weak notes of hay. A solid bitterness in this one.

On tap at Zeitgeist, pours a hazy golden with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma brings out notes of pine, floral hops, and crackery, biscuity malt. Flavour is very fruity and piney, with notes of light fruity notes, piney and floral hops, and some zesty notes. Wonderfully balanced and brewed IIPA, with a nice astringent, zesty finish. Excellent IIPA.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. They checked the keg label. It’s 2.0. Pours dark gold with a white head. Citrus aroma. Med body. Citrus and tropical fruit. Maybe even bubble gum. Very fruity. Finishing decently bitter (tho far from harsh) and towards dry. Nice. Very.

Tap at the brewery tasting room. Pours dark gold with a creamy white head. Earth/sour aroma. Hint of sour there. Med body. Flavor seems earthy/citrus. Almost thought there was apple, but it’s grape. White grape. Finishes earthy with a touch of lemony citrus sour. Seems to fit the style.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear dark copper/amber with a white head. Light malt aroma. Med body. Flavor is strong - a spicy sort of thing. Maybe lots of noble hop. Certainly not very sweet. One of the better Oktos IMHO.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dirty cloudy amber with a dirty beige head. (This was a just tapped keg, so it might be unsettled, but there were enough solids to suggest unfiltered). Med body or better. Flavor seems citrus with rye spice. Touch of earthiness. No hop burn to speak of. Seems cask it’s so smooth.
