500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mildly smoky, peaty, wheaty malty aroma, hints of leather. Taste is tart-ish, wheaty malty, mildly smoky and peaty, slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of leather, a touch of lemon. Oily-watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Mild and balanced, fairly refreshing - nice.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with very late awakening, very small, creamy, fading, tan head. BA supported, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of peat, leather, some coffee. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty and chocolately, dark and caramel malty, notes of toffee, caramel, dark caramel, some treacle, mild BA notes of peat and leather. Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Nice composition, well balanced, very mild and harmonious, excellent BA support - great!
