Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg, Germany and consumed at home Saturday 30th May 2026 during a long WhatsApp chat with Jude and Baz. We're sat in the porch after a couple of hours of mowing the lawns we then had two terrific thunderstorms. We had Saffron and Lemon Chicken with Flatbread for tea. Pours pitch black without much of a head. The cognac barrel ageing is immediately noticeable on the nose along with bitter chocolate and a roasty maltiness. Taste following a similar trajectory, however I feel that the barrel ageing is a little bit heavy handed and too dominant, decent mouthfeel but all told a beer that could and should have been better. Score:7.1

Can picked up from Craftbeershop webshop, Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Saturday 30th May 2026 sat in the porch after a couple of hours of mowing the lawns we then had two terrific thunderstorms. We had Saffron and Lemon Chicken with Flatbread for tea. Listening to the album Geese - Getting Killed..Pours dark gold, mostly clear with a large white head. The nose is mostly piney but a little grape and citrus are also present. Similar in the mouth but citrus comes to the fore and mostly grapefruit. Pleasant but not too pushy hoppiness, decent without quite wowing me. Score:7.1

Can picked up from Craftbeershop webshop, Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Friday 29th May 2026 sat on the balcony. We bought our E-Mtbs today, whoop whoop 🥳. We are eating Harissa Lamb Meatballs with Broad Beans and Garlic Yoghurt for tea tonight and they're fantastic. Light silvery/lemony colour with a large white head. First notes are citrus and perhaps a little tropical touch, these also present themselves in the mouth. Good mouthfeel, pleasant carbonation, tickling the tongue, the citrus and tropical notes are also showing here in the mouth, there's also a nice maltiness to back things up, however it's very nicely done, drinkabilty is great, it feels like a session beer. Score 7.8

Can picked up from Craftbeershop webshop, Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Friday 29th May 2026 on the balcony. We bought our E-Mtbs today, whoop whoop 🥳. We have made Harissa Lamb Meatballs with Broad Beans and Garlic Yoghurt for tea tonight. Pours yellow with a mid/large white head, light haziness. I think that this is my first beer from these guys, it's a solid and good IPA, though at 8% I would argue more DIPA than TIPA as it claims. Nice softness, good carbonation, there's a bitterness that builds, it's a bit juicy and tropical but for me I do feel that there is a little Belgian thumbprint here, not necessarily yeast but there's something that if I didn't know it was Belgian I would say 'yeah, there's a little Belgian twist here'. Bitterness and a dry furry finish. Score: 7.4

Can picked up from Craftbeershop webshop, Parchim, Germany and consumed at home Friday 29th May 2026 on the swinging seat at the top of the garden. We bought our E-Mtbs today, whoop whoop 🥳. We have made Harissa Lamb Meatballs with Broad Beans and Garlic Yoghurt for tea tonight. Pours holly yellow with a large white head, hazy appearance. This is a v.nice West Coast IPA, or to be more exact a DIPA Westy. Nice resinous touches but there is a also tropical and citrus aromas flavours, more pithy citrus, I'm picking up a little pink grapefruit if I'm not mistaken. Nice balance, sweet but also with a lengthy bitterness that really runs, drying on the finish. Score: 7.9

Picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Thursday 28th May 2026 listening to Emily Pilbeam sitting in for Huw Stephens on 6Music, we're listening to Round Table tonight. Pours hazy yellow with a decent white head, slightly foamy. Nicely bitter and drying on the finish. There is little bit of grapefruit initially but then it sits back and there's some resinous touches, not as malty as a real classic American West Coast IPA, but it's got a more modern, clean feel to it. Good. Score: 7.6

Bottle we (me & Loz) picked up directly from the brewery in the company of Marko. Had this Wednesday 27th May 2026 listening to 6Music we had Lamb meatballs with Fregola and Feta, however in the absence of a couple of ingredients we used Orzo and Feta, they still tasted great but I suspect they'd have definitely been better with the Feta. Pours conker brown with a mid beige head. Strange beer, tangy and leaning towards a slight tart/sour edge. There's a little bit of dark fruit and bitter cocoa but it's the slightly ramshackle feeling I get. Score: 6.0

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Sunday 24th May 2026 after a great weekend away in Wien. Still listening to Boards of Canada - Geogaddi, we had Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) for tea we've done an Ndjua version. Pours orange with a small/mid sized white head. Soft carbonation, yeah it is pretty decent. Hazy amber with a small off white head. Sweet maltiness, hoppy and bitter but a little restrained regarding the latter two, some caramel and a little peachiness. Nice mouthfeel, soft carbonation, good but was hoping for a bit more. Score:7.4
