A tasty hoppy brew strong herbal notes.

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20260513) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vanilla, wood and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and lightly warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, vanilla, wood, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, vanilla, ash and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with barrel effects that weren't excessive.

A tasty and balanced brew.
