Sample during the BCBS Tasting on 04/30/2016. Slightly cloudy yellow color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, grassy hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is fruity with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Cupzilla Korean BBQ & Double IPA Showcase" on 04/01/2016. The beer is a clear orange-amber color with a medium foamy bright white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of resiny hops, citrus and malt. Medium to full body with a fresh citrusy hops character and notes of pine, bready malt and a bit of spice. The finish is resiny hops with a grapefruit aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sample at GABF 10/10/2026, thanks to Beer Savant for assistance with note-taking. Slightly cloudy dark golden color with a medium thick frothy bone white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Malt, wheat, citrus and spice in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, mild citrusy hops, wheat and clove. The finish is clean and fruity with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at GABF 10/10/2026, thanks to Beer Savant for assistance with note-taking. Clear orange-gold pour with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to a film. Sparse strings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
