La Mas Buena with Lime from Bale Breaker Brewing Company (Yakima, United States 🇺🇸)

16 oz can. Aroma is lime, pickles (??), faint corn. Pours nearly clear pale golden with a one finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste has real hop bitterness backed by a tame bready malt sweetness, finishing very dry; flavors of lime, corn, floral hops, salt. Much fuller body than typical Mexican lagers. Crisp, clean, and extremely refreshing. If all Mexican lagers had this much pleasant hop bitterness, I would drink them more frequently. An awesome lager in every way.

16 oz can. Aroma is orange, vanilla, margaritas (??), coconut. Pours hazy golden with a half finger off-white head that settles into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is lightly to moderately sour (6/10) and fairly sweet with orange creamsicle flavors.

16 oz can. Aroma is pineapple, overripe guava, B.O. Pours lightly hazy golden with a one finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste has a highly pithy bitterness with vaguely tropical flavors.

16 oz can. Aroma is chalky, vanilla, overripe citrus peel, alcohol. Pours murky orange with a two finger orange-ish white pillowy head with excellent retention. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness backed by significant sweetness from the milk sugar, malt and vanilla. First sip is extreme with boozy alcohol seeming over the top initially, but I acclimated to it pretty quickly and really started to enjoy it. It’s a grower *and* a shower.

12 oz can. Aroma is cantaloupe, floral, peppery, tea leaves. Pours murky yellow-orange with a one finger cream-white head with good retention. Taste has a mild bitterness, a hint of tartness and typical NEIPA sweetness with citrusy, slightly piney flavors.
