9/10 โ€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8.5 Flavor 9.5 Texture 9 Overall 9.5
12oz can, courtesy of TurdFerguson, funny name, pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malts tied to reduced sugars and smooth smelling bourbon borrowed into some booze. Oh yeah. The taste is smooth and slick and does thin out a tad with its massive abv. I get sweet sticky malts leading to sherry sweetness, sugar stewed plums and dates and then caramel and molasses like reduced sugars. Wow. The bourbon is there too creating a supple smooth near candy like bourbon layer leading straight to warming boozy heat into the finish. This is just straight up sipper love affair with no new age adjuncts getting in the way of a good beer. Good God. This beer isn't fucking around.

Panda, courtesy of SaltyGrog, pours with a copper colored body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malts and muted vague hoppy pine sap and then some booze into the end of the draw. The taste delivers nice muted pine sap hoppiness teaming up with malts to create a nice chewy hoppy sensation. It picks up a bit of minerals, spicy hops and booziness midway and into the finish. Pretty nice sipper.

8/10 โ€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
Panda, courtesy of SaltyGrog, pours with a clear copper colored body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mineral rich molasses, a dash of cherry and then flowery to herbal notes. Interesting. The taste delivers flowery floral hops quickly flowing into sweet malts and caramel malts and then a growing modest hop bitterness. Toward the finish the murmurs of hop bitterness and lingering sweet malts meat up with a bit of boozy heat to create a pleasing flavor and palate balance.

7.8/10 โ€” Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
Panda, courtesy of SaltyGrog, pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up jammy fruity goodness followed by earthy leather and some toffee. The taste delivers malts leaning a bit toward chocolate malts and then a pleasing blend of plums, figs and molasses. Nice! It evens out toward the finish as a thin facet of roasted malts is noticed. Solid Wee Heavy.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a clear gold colored body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up apple, pear and over ripe white grape like esters and little else. The taste delivers sweet fruity esters and then more sweetness. It does manage a dash of cracker malts towards the finish. This is clean enough but could be dryer and less sweet.
