After 14 years on Ratebeer it's time for a change of scene! I enjoy all styles of beers, accept for the crappy industrial lager stuff. Not especially keen on the race for 70,000 ticks. More interested in discovering new flavours and experiences. Cheers, Brian

44 cl can from Kvickly supermarket poured into a Tulip glass. Hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, tropical impressions and grasses. The taste is bitter. Medium body, good for the abv. Drying fruity bitter finish. Fine.

75 cl bottle picked up at a Netto discounter poured into a Trappist glass. Slightly hazy dark mahogany colour with with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, prunes, nuts, resin, and a slightly vinous note. The taste is sweet. Full body. Slightly drying sweet finish. Lacks complexity compared to the best Belgian quadruples, still good value for money, trough.

Brewed in Italy by Peroni. 33 cl bottle poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear, golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with grains, grasses and hay. The taste is light bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation. Drying, lightly bitter finish. Clean, crisp, smooth. Ok on a hot spring day.
