Bottle, birthday gift from Andrew. Golden body with a light haze and no head - total snow globe. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of light vinegar and oak, with orange rind and lemon. Flavour follows the aroma - tart and oaky. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. It looks atrocious but it tastes complex and tart.

Can from Co-op. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of mint, grapefruit and peach. Flavour of caramel, basil and orange. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is very nice indeed - great flavours.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear ruby body with a little thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of glazed cherry and caramel. Flavour of cherry syrup and pomegranate. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Not far off cherry cola. It’s good but overall too sweet - almost like an alcopop.

Can from Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant. Milky golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lime, bay leaf and honeydew melon. Flavour of vine tomato, juicy melon and lime chutney. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A punchy, limey DIPA - a real treat.
