Seems to be confusion as to if we’ve got an APA or an IPA here. Added a commercial description that says it’s an IPA. The “Sue” line of beers appears to include both styles.

Anyway, to me this seemed like more of an IPA and a fairly solid one at that. It’s a citrusy one with crisp, lightly pine accented hops. Medium bodied. Quite good. I had higher expectations though.

Clear gold pour with a white head. Smells of grainy malt and a bit of herbal hops. It has a malty flavor that’s grainy and bready. There’s mild hops adding a touch of bitterness. Light bodied. Not too bad, but it certainly doesn’t impress.

Hazy purple pour with a small lingering head. Rich currant aroma. Tastes very sweet though the currants bring some tartness that makes it work well. I don’t usually like them this sweet, but this is quite good.

Hazy pale green. Quite mild honey and peach aroma. Tastes very sweet. Very ripe peaches and milder honey. Kind of sugary.

Billed as half pears, half apples, if I remember correctly. Pale yellow pour with minimal head. It has a musty aroma with some pears. The flavor is sweet with pears coming through more than apples. Tastes better than it smells.
