Cloudy deep brown to black with a small short-lived beige head. Liquid chocolate sediment. Toasted & roasted, chocolate, cherry dessert, hop, distant raw water / iron. Strange. The chocolate seems to be genuine but it does not want to dilute in the stout well and leaves its own life.

Clouded deep brown with a small beige head. Toasted bred, , caramel, treacle, esters, distant hop, warming alcohol. Dense. Pretty sweet. Low bitterness. Not of great balance. Still, not bad overall.

Opaque deep brown to black with a decent tan head. Roast & toast, smoke, wood, peat, berry esters, chocolate & coffee, New World hop. Medium dry. Pretty bitter. Very good.
