Opaque deep brown to black with a small tan head. Roasted & toasted. prune esters, salted caramel, black currant jam, floral hop, brandy. Light sweet & bitter. Not a masterpiece.

Cloudy deep yellow with a lovely head. Wheat bread, banana, clove, Citrus fruits, tropical & floral notes. Medium dry. Light to medium hop bitterness. Very good.

Opaque deep red. No head. Just a bubbling substance. Tomato juice, various spices including basil. Light sweet & sour. Some chili. Not bad.

Cloudy orange to amber with a tasll white head of perfect retention. Pale malt, lovely apricot esters, leather, grass, spicy notes. Warming. Medium dry. Light to medium ending bitterness. High class. Tasty.

Cloudy yellow to orange with a beautiful white head. Funk, barnyard, lemon, autumn leaves, horse blanket, wood, spicy hop. Bone dry. Heavy sour. Light plus bitter. A fair amount of hop in the aftertaste. Nice.

Clear pale gold with a decent head. Pale malt, fruity notes, noble hop. Pretty clean. Medium dry. Light plus ending bitterness. This is the first Russian Kölsch that is comparable to the German ones. Good.
