Bottle 0.75 l. Golden orange, slightly smoky, almost white head. Aroma: spicy, yeast, malt, fruity, apples, herbal hops. Taste: malty, pear and apple, yeast, light sourness, slightly bitter finish from hops, still good.

Bottle at home. Orangeish amber pour with a long lasting, finger-wide off-white head. Nose is intense esters, some hay, a touch of honey, vague fruityness. Taste is grainy sweetness, big esters again, even milder fruityness than in the aroma, loads of warming booze. Closes with a quickly disappearing finish, it’s boozy, sweet, estery. The body is light to medium, the carbonation is quite high. Underwhelming all in all.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is spicy Belgian yeast with bready malt, stewed apple, ripe fruit esters. Medium sweet and light bitter, hint of alcohol. Medium body. Good spicy/estery Belgian fare.

37,5cl Fles van De Laat. Mistig oranjegouden kleur, witte kraag. Licht gistig, vrij zoet, appels, appelmoes, oude koekjes, alcohol, fruitig, vrij generieke Tripel eigenlijk, medium body. Moet zeggen dat ik lichtelijk teleurgesteld ben.

Huge, dense, stable and lightly amberish tinted head, irregular, over very lively carbonated hazy light-amber beer. Herbal, spicy, bit earthy, beets, garden weeds and fodder. Caramel², and again a bit earthy. Leafy vegetables; bananapeel, again tubers, veggies. Well-bodied, very light alcoholwarming, good carbonation. I will prefer 'Bière Darbyste' anytime, but finally having a new entry for de Blaugies, makes me happy! Txs to Stef!

Blaugise on iga aasta bxl-l olnud, aga alati on jäänud see maitsmata.. magus, väga puuviljane ja väga belgia pärane, kuiv ka. Mulle sobib.

An amber beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has riped fruitness, sweetness of dried fruits, spicyness. Taste has fruitness and spicyness apricot. Medium+ bodied. I waited a more complex beer, this is now pretty straightforward and simple.
