slightly hazy dark brown, settles very dark brown, smooth brown head.
first aroma imression is surprisingly mostly modeling wax or perhaps mushrooms, but mostly medeling wax. maybe glue.. notes reminds me of the most over-barrelled beers i've had only the over-barreled notes here are taken to the extreme here and dominate everything.roasted malts and high abv. is hinted at below all the wax.
flavor is roasted malts, wood, charred wood, licorice. a lot of woody notes - complex. also a lot of smoked woody notes.. tastes quite nice if you're into smoked woody peaty imp stouts.
It really grow on you. give it time in the glass and you will be rewarded. I increased my initial rating. Aroma is still off.

pitch black with barrel aged bubbly small head that is very dark brown.
A lot of booze and some coconut in the aroma. also roasted malts, chocolate, rye.
Flavor is really good, roasted malts, wood, whiskey, faint smoked note, booze liqeur feel to it, cause it's so strong. end is slightly boozy and only very little more roasted malty than the initial impression.

bottle from kihoskh
pours very very dark, settles black with a small dark brown head that soon turns into a film head.
really intenes aroma where the first thing i notice is a sweet roasted malty alc. bite, roasted malts, just a lot of roasted malts, and a good dose of alcohol.
flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, wood, bourbon, intensity is high throughout but the end is with a peppery burn added to it. I must say, alc. is very well hidden - most noticeable in the aroma, not so much in the flavor.
Pretty solid traditional imperial barrel aged stout.
refreshing sipper considering all the pastry stuff all over the place.

hazy yellow, light yellow smooth head.
aroma has a ton of pine then a little bit of citrus fruits. having it very cold that might add to this balance. really nice aroma. crisp, dry, pine, pine and more pine.
Flavor is herbal mountain spices, pine, fresh green nutty malty base, end is surprisingly non-bitter considering the very piny aroma.

pours dark brown, settles black, light brown fizzy BA head.
Aroma is high in coconut and buttered popcorn (that must be the fudge)
flavor is bourbon, butter rich chocolate, burning chili or alc. bite to balance the extreme sweetness, roasted malts, white cake frosting.
The beer feels very rounded even though it is extremely sweet, and i can find no off flavors besides those that are intentionally there. quite decent dessert sipper, more hipster than a chocolate cake.

dark brown pour, settles black. smooth brown to light brown head.
sweet rounded bourbon aroma, mostly bourbon, also some roasted malts, chocolate and lots of othe very fine nuances, but nothing distracting from the roasted malty bourbon sensation. great aroma.
flavor is really really good, booze(bourbon) roasted malts, coffee, no bitter caramel, licorice, heavy roasted notes - coffee and malts, brown sugar. the end is quite bitter and long lasting from coffe and roasted malts. Really good flavor.

mild closed-in-on-itself aroma. definitely very hoppy, i think pine, it's so intense/concentrated that even though it is not powerful, it does hint concentrated hop aroma. it's like they crammed a ton of hops into the beer but somehow kept the intensity without raising the volume. It hints it is gonna taste VERY hoppy.
Flavor is quite intensely hoppy, but not much bitterness, faint licorice like note, very faint exotic and citrus fruity notes, there is a lot of intensity there, but not much bitterness and not much power. If you crave hops, this is the beer.
abv. well hidden and well used, the beer feels like a heavy IPA and have a well rounded body, you get a "this is NOT water" feeling.
quite refreshing as the exotic and sweet is very low. A bit like a grapefruit juice that has been stored for too long and have lost some of its fresh fruitiness.
