Main question is where is the entrance? In front it's all closed, but ahaa backdoor is open. Or is the back door actually front? Confusing.
Typical JWD.

Selection wise probably the best place in town. They do flights, so be a ticker and tick 'em all! They also serve other breweries so that's a bonus. Must visit place and I will come back.

Like every other Head of Steam chain pub. Always something on tap, but rather pricy. Buying small beers single is cheaper than buying flight.

Old classic British pub. Looks like mainly aimed for locals, but some tourists like us and gang of Americans might find the way in as well. Brains beer are on cask, rest same old tap water.

Type of sports bar, TV screens on walls showing different kind of sports. Very touristy place. Prices rather high.

Classic old school English pub. Bit worn out, but that's part of the deal. Selection of real ales, which were ok.

Right in the Centre of Cardiff, opposite of the Castle gates. Large, modern type brewery/taproom. Buzzing on early afternoon. Doesn't look dirty, but sloppy, beer all over the counter and staff doesn't really care. They do flights so that's a bonus.

Proper boozers pub. Smells. Local geezers already have eyes shining like diamonds around the noon. Managed to grab couple quick drinks and left. Short distance from train station.

In an old medieval type of building with proper interior. Feels like travelling back in time. Sam Smith real ales on tap. Nice service. 5 minute walk from Newport train station. Worth a visit.
