Can from Systembolaget. Rich aroma - hard to tell if its the malts or hops that are more prominent. Slightly murky mahogany. Little too rich and boozy for my liking for such an IPA.

Can from Systembolaget. Lovely deep hoppy aroma. Nice gold look. Flavour is a little light compared to the rest with a slightly boozy / sweet ending that I didn't pay attention to until this rating. Was brilliant until I paid too close attention...Nonetheless decent value for money and abv.

Can from Systembolaget. Surely one of the best cider's I've ever had - just delivers so much sweet apple flavour in a mature way. Gorgeous.

Keg at the brewpub, Lilongwe. Light but with strong fizz. Sweet. Grain ending. Not quite up to the level you'd want to move beyond KK for the price difference.

Keg at the brewpub, Lilongwe. A popular one with punters who might be confused by hops in their Malawian beers for once. A light pale ale that does the job. Not particularly thick.

Keg at the brewpub, Lilongwe. Interesting stout that starts with quite a lovely palate, moving into coffee flavours before becoming more smokey.
