Rock solid West Coast style pale ale, brewed in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops to showcase HBC 522 and HBC 638. We paired them with Chinook and Centennial to compliment and enhance. It adds up – get a pint of Numbers!

Nice dank gear. Some semi-ripe citrus, gooey pine, tangerines, dabs of marmalade, sun-kissed malty sugars. Mellow piney bitterness. Moreish and very nicely rounded.

Can. RAD Beer online. Hazed yellow gold. Bubbly sticky white foam. Looks nothing like a West Coast IPA. Anyway. Nose has light sweet malts. Overripe citrus. Bit of herbal leaf. Bit of a Centennial stank. Taste is nicely bitter with a cakey sweetness. Like a sugary bun thing. Drinks decent enough overall despite the sugary thing. Moderate bitterness to finish. Nice beer but if you’re going to flog it as a West Coast IPA it needs to resemble a West Coast IPA.

440ml can. A lightly hazed yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pine, mild vinous hint. Taste is the same, orange and grapefruit, piney, some vinous notes, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied.
Could do with a bit more bitterness but an otherwise solid WC APA. Also, not sure why Burning Sky's westies are always so hazy but at least everything else about them are good.

Can from Middle Farm, Alfriston. Interesting how the aroma is a in the end a bit like a NZ pale ale as you blend these US and British varieties. Interesting sweet with a good hop backing. Complex.
