Keg at The Handsome Prince, Cambridge. Pours clear amber orange with beige foam. Malty, grapefruit, orange marmalade, milder gooseberry, sticky resin, dank. Light to moderate sweet with moderate+ bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very good.

Keg at Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Hazy orange with white foam. Sweet-ish, wheaty with clove & coriander type notes. Pretty standard fare

Small cosy pub/bar, located in Islington. Nice atmosphere. Solid range of beers, ciders and wine on taps. Eight cask ales, 10 craft beers on keg + ciders. The downside is that it is extremely popular and can be super crowded at times.

Not the easiest plave to get to but manageble by bus. We got an Uber out and a bus back to Brussels. It's a very atmospheric bar, the ambiance is just great. Great service. Slight frustration about the beer list, which was out of date/items not available, but it's a small gripe. Food is pate and bread. It's somewhere that every beer fan should seek out at least once in their lives.

New Kernel taproom (opened in 2025) and not in an arch! A decent sized space, although it can get super busy at times. Food is Japanese fusion, very good too! 20+ keg lines of the brewery's beers plus a couple on hand pumps. A must visit on the Bermo Beer Mile.

Visited (most recently) 21/05/2026. Renowned and often busy free house on the 'Mill Road crawl'. Nice patio out the back. Decent selection of 8+ cask beers, with a smaller, sometimes quirky selection of keg beers. Always worth a visit.

Craft beer shop & bar towards the north of the city. Nice atmosphere, some outdoor space. Plenty of students in having a beer. Good range of beers on tap and an extensive selection in the multiple fridges.

Visited (most recently) 21/05/2026. Interesting place. Very quirky. A pub one side of the building and a music venue at the other. A very LGTBQ+ friendly space. decent sized outdoor space. A pretty reasonable line up of cask & keg options, there's always something new that's worth a try.
